Abstract

Plesiocera algira Macquart, 1840 Material: Four specimens: Al Bahhath 20.V.2002 (1ɗ, 1Ψ); Ma’in 5.VIII.2002 (1Ψ); Western Bayudah 26.VIII.2002 (1Ψ). Distribution: Palaearctic: Algeria, Italy, Lebanon, Palestine, Spain, Syria, Tunisia. It was collected flying near ground surface between vegetations.
