Remarks. The collecting date is posterior to the original description. excellens Bernhauer 1911: 411 (Cryptobium) MLP 146. “ ARGENTINA, Prov. Buenos Aires; H. Richter” / “Cotypus” printed on green label / “Bernhauer determ.” / “ Cryptobium excellens Brh. ” handwritten by Bernhauer / “2568”. Remarks. This species was based on specimens collected by C. Bruch. The current valid combination is Ochthephilum excellens (Blackwelder 1944). minimum Bernhauer,1908: 314 (Cryptobium) MLP 148. “ ARGENTINA, Prov. Buenos Aires; H. Richter” / “Cotypus” printed on green label / “Bernhauer determ.” printed on green label / “ minimum Brnh. ” handwritten by Bernhauer / “417”. Remarks. Buenos Aires was not mentioned in the original publication, this species was described from “Chaunar-region”. The current valid combination is Ochthephilum minimum (Blackwelder 1944). princeps Bernhauer, 1908:324 –325 (Cryptobium) MLP 151. “ ARGENTINA, Tucumán; H. Richter” / “Cotypus” printed on green label / “Bernhauer determ.” printed on white label / “ Cryptobium princeps Brh. ” handwritten by Bernhauer / “2838”. Remarks. Tucumán was not mentioned in the original publication, this species was described from Paraguay. The current valid combination is Ochthephilum princeps (Blackwelder 1944).
