Ptomaphaginus tarsalis Szymczakowski, 1964 Ptomaphaginus tarsalis Szymczakowski, 1964: 94-99, figs 43-51.— Holotype ♂ (in ZMA) and paratypes ♂ and ♀ (in ZMA) from Fort de Kock, Sumatra, Indonesia [examined]. Material.— Indonesia: West-Sumatra, Palopo Nature Reserve N Bukittinggi, 900 m, 18-20.xi.1989, leg. Löbl, Agosti & Burkhardt, 5 ♂♂, 4 ♀♀ (MHNG, CMPR). Remarks.— This species, which is characterized by short and robust appendices, was described by Szymczakowski (1964) from Fort de Kock, Sumatra (the colonial name of Bukittinggi). The new specimens, collected at the type locality, match all characters of Szymczakowski’s description.
