Authors: Ebrahimi, Ebrahim; Carpenter, James M.;
Abstract

Genus Stenodynerus de Saussure Stenodynerus chitgarensis Giordani Soika Material examined: Tehrān: Abali, 9–10.VII.1965, det. Giordani Soika (deposited in ZMHB). Remarks: The following species were previously recorded from Iran but were not collected: Stenodynerus bluethgeni van der Vecht, S. fastidiosissimus difficilis (Morawitz), S. sapidus Giordani Soika, and S. xanthomelas (Herrich-Schaeffer). Twenty-one other genera of Eumeninae have been recorded from Iran in the literature (see van der Vecht and Fischer, 1972; Blüthgen and Gusenleitner, 1970), but were not recently collected. These are nevertheless included in the key, and the list of these genera and the species recorded from Iran follows.
