Abstract

Sangaris concinna Dalman, 1823 (Fig. 7) Sangaris concinna Dalman, 1823: 71; Monné, 2005: 353 (cat.). Colobothea histrio Perty, 1832: 97. Synchyzopus histrio; Thomson, 1864: 30. Comments. This is the only species with head and prothorax covered by dense and appressed golden-olive pubescence. Geographical distribution: Brazil, Bahia to Santa Catarina. Specimens examined. BRAZIL, Bahia: Anuri, female, V.1972 (C. A. C. Seabra, O. Roppa & M. A. Monné leg.); Encruzilhada, female, XI.1974 (C. A. C. Seabra & O. Roppa leg.); Valença (17 km W), female, 12.X.1983 (J. Becker leg.); Espírito Santo: Barra do São Francisco (Córrego do Ita), 9 males, 10 females, XI.1954 (W. Grossmann leg.); Colatina, male, 2 females, XI.1970 (B. Silva leg.); Jaguarari, female, IV.1978 (M. A. Monné leg.); Linhares, 4 males, 9 females, XI.1967 (F. M. Oliveira leg.); Parque Sooretama, 19 males, 5 females, XI.1967 (F. M. Oliveira leg.); São Paulo: São Paulo (Cantareira), male, XI.1952 (H. Zellibor leg.); female, 1.II.1954 (H. Zellibor leg.). All specimens deposited in MNRJ. Zajciw (1962a) referred to specimens from Rio Muriaé in Rio de Janeiro and Joinville in Santa Catarina.
