Messiasia lanei

Abstract

Messiasia lanei d´ Andretta, 1951 d’Andretta, 1951: 56-59 (original description); 15, figure 41 (head); and 69, figures 193 (female terminalia in lateral view), 194 (9th tergite, 9th sternite and anal plates of female terminalia, in ventral view) and 195 (8th sternite of female genitalia, in ventral view). Type Locality: Lima, Lima, Peru. Paratype female with labels: (1) handwritten on white paper: “ Lima | I. 24 [1924]”; (2) printed on pink paper: “PARATIPO”; (3) printed on white paper: “20.239”; (4) handwritten on white paper: “ Messiasia | lanei, n.sp. | d’Andretta. 1951 ”. Preservation: Pinned; specimen intact with undissected terminalia.
