Chrysomya rufifacies (Macquart) Lucilia rufifacies Macquart, 1844: 303 Chrysomya rufifacies: Dear, 1985: 113 Diagnosis. Notum mostly shining, little or no tomentum when viewed from rear; male frons twice the width of anterior ocellus; male outer vertical seta usually present; female rear edge of T5 with cleft (Whitworth 2006, as in fig. 49). Distribution. Specimens were examined from Dominica (TW), Jamaica (LSAM), and Puerto Rico (TW, FSCA, CMNH, USNM). Dear (1985) did not record it from the West Indies. It is found throughout the Neotropical Region.
