Paratrizygia Tonnoir 1929 Paratrizygia Tonnoir 1929: 605. Type-species, P. conformis Tonnoir (orig. des.). Diagnosis. Three ocelli, lateral ocelli touching or almost touching eye margin. Mediotergite, laterotergite, and anepisternum setose. Wing membrane covered with micro- and macrotrichia. Sc ending just beyond origin of Rs, sc-r faint, connecting to R in the basal region of wing; M1+2 unforked, an unattached vein present between M1+2 and unforked cubital vein (possibly M4, Amorim & Oliveira 2008). Tarsal claws toothed. Comments. The holotype of Paratrizygia conformis Tonnoir is missing from the Australian Museum, Sydney (Bugledich 1999: 269), which prevents us from a wider discussion of the relationships within the genus. Even though the original description of the type-species of the genus is detailed, the fact that the holotype cannot be examined constrains the preparation of a well established diagnosis.
