Empleo del CaO obtenido de las cáscaras de huevo como catalizador heterogéneo en la conversión del Aceite de Ricino

Abstract

Se extrajo aceite de ricino de las semillas del tártago (Ricinus communis). El aceite fue convertido en una mezcla de esteres metílicos mediante transesterificación. La reacción se llevó a cabo sobre Ca(OH)2 y CaO comerciales, así como CaO obtenido a partir de las cáscaras de huevo, como catalizadores. Los productos fueron caracterizados por cromatografía de gases, espectroscopia infrarroja con transformada de Fourier. El material obtenido de las cáscaras de huevo fue caracterizado por difracción de rayos X y EITF. El resultado de la conversión del aceite sobre CaO obtenido de las cáscaras de huevo fue del 80 %.
