Cuanoma gen. nov. Type species. Cuanoma protracta sp. nov. Diagnosis. Tegmen narrow, convex, costal margin sinuate basally and slightly at dSc, nearly straight distally. Interradial space narrowing apically. M and CuA forming long stalk basally, close-set distally; basal cell absent. MA forked, MP simple. CuA closely parallel to CuP. 1A close to scutellar angle. Hypocostal carina (except near base) and marginal membrane poorly developed. Surface areolate; postnodal part less sclerotized, with larger areolae. Etymology. From cubital vein and Greek anomos (without law); gender feminine.
