Lathrolestes tripunctor (Thunberg, 1824) Figs 22–25 Thunberg, 1824: Ichneumon, USL Roman, 1912: Polyoncus Aubert, 2000: Lathrolestes Horstmann, 2001: Perilissus Roman, 1912: Ichneumon distichor Thunberg,1824, Perilissus grandiceps Thomson,1883 Pfankuch, 1923: Perilissus longicornis Brischke,1871 Teunissen, 1953: Perilissus singularis Vollenhoven,1878 Horstmann, 1983: Perilissus luteocephalus Giraud,1872 Diagnosis. This species differs from the closely related L. buccinator by its shorter first metasomal tergum (almost as long as wide, with strongly raised lateral longitudinal carinae with longitudinal lateral impressions) and yellow face in the female (Fig. 24). Comments. This species was recently placed in the genus Perilissus (Horstmann, 2001) but Aubert's (2000) previous taxonomic act was correct in placing this species in Lathrolestes. The character state of the occipital carina not reaching the hypostomal carina allows the placement of this species within Lathrolestes. Material. Germany, 12.06.1954, Einbeck, female, ex. Tomostethus nigritus (F.) (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae), ZSM; Russia, Pskov Region, Chudskoe Lake, Kobylie Gorodishche, female, 14.07.2003, A. Reshchikov (ZIN RAS). Distribution. Europe.
