Abstract

11. Ormyrus wachtli Mayr, 1904 Material examined: East-Azarbaijan, Maragheh, N 37˚ 20'12" E 46˚ 9' 60", 1643m, 15.i.2011, 4Ψ & 1ɗ. This species is a parasitoid of gall-inducing Cynipidae and Cecidomyiidae (Zerova and Seryogina 2006). The above record is the first for Iran, based upon specimens swept in the northwest of the country.
