Heteroxynema (Cavioxyura) viscaciae Hugot & Sutton, 1989 Type host. Lagidium viscacia boxi Thomas (Mammalia: Chinchillidae). Site of infection. Caeca and large intestine. Type locality. Argentina, Chubut Province, Paso del Sapo (42°44'27.84"S, 69°36'17.99"W). Holotype: 3 MLP 1338/1. Paratypes: MLP 1338/2 (allotype Ƥ, 4 specimens). These specimens were not individualized by the authors in a lot of 6 specimens cited as MLP 1338 D. Remarks. 233, 5ƤƤ in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, France (not mentioned as paratypes in the original description). Reference. Hugot & Sutton (1989).
