Spatulignatha idiogena Wu, 1994 (Figs. 1 d, 2d, 3d, 4c) Spatulignatha idiogena Wu, 1994: 198; Park, 2000: 365. Type Locality: China (Fujian, Sichuan). Type Depository: IZCAS. Material examined. China: 1 ♂, Huguosi, Mt. Fanjing (27°70'N, 109°19'E), Guizhou Province, 1300 m, 1.viii.2001, coll. Houhun Li and Xinpu Wang; 1 ♂, Sangang (27°44'N, 117°41'E), Mt. Wuyi, Fujian Province, 740 m, 19.v.2004, coll. Haili Yu; 2 ♂, 3 ♀, Tudiyan, Mt. Simian (28°38'N, 106°24'E), Chongqing City, 1200 m, 15, 16, 17.vii.2012, coll. Yinghui Sun and Aihui Yin. Description. Adult (Figs. 1 d, 2d) with wing expanse 18.5–20.0 mm. Female genitalia (Fig. 4c): Apophyses posteriores about twice as long as apophyses anteriores, nearly extended to anterior margin of abdominal sternite VIII. Lamella antevaginalis inconspicuous. Antrum funnel, weakly sclerotized, about 1/4 length of ductus bursae. Ductus bursae about 2/3 length of corpus bursae, thick, with heavily sclerotized leaf-shaped bands extending from basal 1/4 to near middle; ductus seminalis arising from distal 1/3 of ductus bursae. Corpus bursae rounded; signum placed near middle, small, nearly rectangular, with teeth. Diagnosis. Spatulignatha idiogena is similar to S. longizonalis sp. nov., but can be distinguished by the postero-lateral lobes of the juxta pointed terminally, and the vinculum with anterior margin broadly rounded in the male genitalia (Fig. 3 d), as well as the inconspicuous lamella antevaginalis in the female genitalia. In S. longizonalis, the postero-lateral lobes of the juxta are obliquely straight terminally, the anterior margin of the vinculum is protruded semicircularly in the male genitalia, and the conspicuous lamella antevaginalis is nearly rectangular in the female genitalia. Distribution. China (Chongqing, Fujian, Guizhou, Sichuan, Taiwan) Remarks. Spatulignatha idiogena was described by Wu (1994) based on two male specimens from Fujian and Sichuan. Park (2000) reported this species based on two males collected from Taiwan. We herein describe its female for the first time.
