Abstract

Genus Anoplocheylus Berlese, 1910 Type species: Anoplocheylus europaeus Berlese, 1910 Diagnosis. Peritremes in soft cuticle connecting gnathosoma and idiosoma, completely or partly chambered (striated proximally and chambered distally in Neocheylus); legs with pre-tarsi stalked, annulated, bearing a pliable empodium without claws (but present in some Pseudocheylus) (Ueckermann & Khanjani 2004).
