Tuberepyris basibrevis Lanes et Azevedo, 2008 Tuberepyris basibrevis Lanes & Azevedo 2008: 69. Here we present additional features to the original description and revised others as follow: Head. Carina fronto-clypeal present. Antenna with segment III as long as wide; segment XI 1.75x as long as wide. WF 0.58x WH. WF 2.07x HE. Eye bulging. Elliptical protuberance located between eyes in the anterior portion of head, 0.21x LH. Mesosoma. Pronotal disc 0.44x as long as wide. Propleuron not reaching anterior margin of pronotal disc in dorsal view. Anterior margin of pronotal collar with foveolate groove. Parapsidal furrow 0.67x mesoscutum. Forewing long, subcostal vein 0.2x as long as LFW; anal vein 0.54x subcostal vein; basal veins 0.08x subcostal vein; pterostigma small and triangular. Hind wing with four adjacent distal hamuli. Propodeal disc rugulose, with transverse anterior, posterior and lateral carinae present; propodeal declivity with transversal median carina. Mesopleuron flat; subtegular groove, episternal furrow, mesopleural pit and mesopleural fovea present; mesopleural pit small and deep; lower and anterior foveae opened, lower margins of both foveae fused and surpassing the half of mesopleuron length. Metasoma. First metasomal sternite 0.33x as long as metasoma. Material examined. Holotype. ♀, [TANZANIA], Tanganyika, 14 mi S. of Sumbawanga, elev. 1750 m, 16.ii. [19]58, (E S. Ross & R E.
