The present paper describes the mixed ligand complexes of the type MLL' (H2O)2 , where M=MgII and CaII ; HL= 1,3-diphenylpropane-1,3-dione; and HL' = salicylaldehyde, 2-hydroxyacetophenone, pentane-2,4-dione or 1-phenylbutane-1 ,3-dione.
