Lasiopiophila pilosa (Staeger) NBP/NIS material examined. 220 ♂, 340 ♀ from the following sites: Manitoba: Churchill; Northwest Territories: Banks Island; Nunavut: Cambridge Bay, Iqaluit, Kugluktuk, Lake Hazen (v.1953; vi.1948, 1949, 1951; vi–viii.1952; vii.1961; vi–vii.1962; vii.1963; vii.1980; vii.2011) (CNC, LEM). Comments. Lasiopiophila pilosa is restricted to high northern sites in the Nearctic (McAlpine 1977) and has been reported from the Palaearctic (Hennig 1943; McAlpine 1977).
