Stylogaster nitidula Kröber, 1936 Kröber’s description was based on a female holotype only and Smith (1967) subsequently synonymised Stylogaster nitidula with Stylogaster nitens Brunetti, 1925. In view of newly discovered and very similiar Stylogaster species it is not possible to determine the identity of the female Stylogaster nitidula holotype given the current state of knowledge, and this species should therefore be treated as a nomen dubium (stat. rev.).
