Sagittaria rhombifolia Cham.

Abstract

Sagittaria rhombifolia Cham. in Linnaea 10: 219. 1835. = Sagittaria pugioniformis f. macrophylla Chodat in Bull. Herb. Boissier ser. 2, 3: 1032. 1903. Holotypus: PARAGUAY. Canindeyú: “ In rivulo Ypé hú, Sierra Maracayu ”, X.1898 -1899, Hassler, E. 5140 (G [G00004543]!; iso-: G [G00004544, G00004545]!), syn. nov. Notas. – El holótipo de S. pugioniformis f. macrophylla está determinado como S. rhombifolia por HAYNES & HOLM-NIELSEN (1994: 76). El tamaño de la hoja sobre el cual está basada la f. macrophylla, por sí solo no es un criterio taxonómico que permite justificar una forma diferente de la forma típica. Se formaliza la sinonimia de este nombre con S. rhombifolia.
