Key to the species in the Aegla paulensis complex 1. Rostrum narrow base triangular-shaped, distinctly curved downward. Anteromesial margin of the third thoracic sternite tapered. Uropods wide. Posterolateral margins of telson slightly concave mesially................. Aegla paulensis s. str. - Rostrum curved upward distally, straight or nearly deflected downward. Anteromesial margin of the third thoracic sternite truncate or abrupt. Uropods narrow. Posterolateral margins of telson straight or slightly convex mesially................. 2 2.
