Subgenus Tachys Six specimens surely correspond to this subgenus but could not be identified to species. These are quite distinctive in having the elytra, pronotum and head all black. I have collected other beetles of genus Tachys that possibly correspond to three different species, but it was not possible to even key them to a particular subgenus.
