Malthodes (Malthodes) ordubadensis iranicus Wittmer, 1972 Distribution in Iran. Generic records: Iran (Wittmer 1972; Delkeskamp 1977; Kazantsev & Brancucci 2007). Remarks. Presently thought as endemic to Iran, but possibly also present in Azerbaijan. The nominotypical subspecies Malthodes ordubadensis ordubadensis Reitter (1889) was described from Araxesthal near Ordubad (Azerbaijan), close to Iranian border (Wittmer 1992; Koçak & Kemal 2015) and a future finding in this territory cannot be excluded.
