Abstract

Conochironomus Freeman Conochironomus Freeman, 1961 (Freeman 1961: 701, Cranston & Hare 1995). Sumatendipes Kikuchi & Sasa, 1990 (Kikuchi & Sasa 1990: 313). Type-species Sumatendipes tobaterdecimus Kikuchi & Sasa, 1990, by monotypy. Syn. n. Type-species: Endochironomus acutistilus Freeman, 1955: 288, by original designation (Freeman 1955). Other included species: C. australiensis Cranston & Hare, 1995; C. avicula (Freeman, 1955); C. cervus Cranston & Hare, 1995; C. cygnus Cranston & Hare, 1995; C. deemingi Cranston & Hare, 1995; C. kakadu Cranston & Hare, 1995; C. nuengthai sp. n.; C. sawngthai sp. n.; C. tobaterdecimus (Kikuchi & Sasa, 1990).
