*22. Colotis evagore antigone (Boisduval, 1836) WL: 16mm. A new record for Guinea-Bissau, this subspecies occurs in savanna along most of Continental Africa south of the Sahara, with the nominate subspecies restricted to Yemen. The caterpillars feed on several species of Capparaceae. Studied material. Cacheu: Caió, two specimens only (JB). Probable abundance and proposed status. AB: R; CS: VU.
