Abstract

Inson hayoti yer yuzidagi barcha hayot kabi nafas olmasdan mumkin emas. Biz havodan kislorodni yutamiz va karbonat angidridni chiqaramiz. Ammo nima uchun kislorod tugamaydi? Bu jarayon barcha yashil o’simliklarda sodir bo’ladigan fotosintez jarayoni orqali amalga oshadi. Fotosintez (“foton”-“yorug’lik, “sintez”-“birlashtirish”) –yuksak o’simliklar, suvo’tlar, va ayrim fotosintezlovchi bakteriyalarda xlorofill va boshqa fotosintetik pigmentlar o’zlashtiradigan yorug’lik energiyasi hisobiga oddiy birikmalardan murakkab moddalar hosil bo’lishi. Fotosintez tabiatda sodir bo’ladigan eng muhim biologik jarayonlardan biri.
