Banasa peruana has a body longer than 10 mm, usually with a discolored yellow band running through the apex of the hemelytra and scutellum, without stigmatose spots on the pleura, the anterior and posterior portions of the pronotum are obscurely intergrading, and the gonocoxite VIII is emarginate.
