[Harpactea hombergi (Scopoli, 1763)] Comments. In his popular book ‘The Comity of Spiders’ on English spiders, Bristowe (1939) cites Majorca as within the distribution area of Harpactea hombergi. This is the only record and the presence of the species in the Balearics is strongly doubted (Pons & Palmer 1996). The species is deleted from the island’s list.
