Objectives: To examine patients’ opinions and attitudes about the importance of the role of nurses in general/family outpatient clinic, to examine patients’ opinions and attitudes about the importance of the role of nurses in general/family outpatient clinic with regard to patients’ age, to examine patients’ opinions and attitudes about the role of nurses in general/family outpatient clinic regard with the gender of patients, examine the opinions and attitudes of patients on the importance of the role of nurses in general/family outpatient clinic with regard to education, examine the opinions and attitudes of patients on the importance of the role of nurses in general/family outpatient clinic with regard to a number of visits to the family clinic and length of stay with one (alone) general practitioner. Respondents and methods: The respondents were adults, and a total of 91 of them visited the outpatient clinic in Oriovac. The questionnaire for this survey was created using the Google Sheets program, which is publicly available. The survey was conducted anonymously, and each respondent was asked to give their consent at the beginning of the survey. Results: Female patients and older respondents have a more positive opinion and attitudes about the importance of the role of nurses in general/family medicine. Patients with higher education have more positive opinions and attitudes than patients with lower education. Also, patients who have visited a doctor more than ten times and patients who have been with one doctor for more than thirty years have a more positive opinion. Conclusion: Older patients, female patients, patients with higher education, patients who have visited a doctor more than ten times, and patients who are with one doctor for more than 30 years have a more positive opinion and attitudes about the importance of the role of nurses in general/family medicine.
