Abstract

The Austrian Social Survey investigates changes in the social structure, living conditions, social attitudes and values of the residential population of Austria. Abstract in German: Ist die Vorstellung einer Gesellschaft, die einen kontinuierlichen Aufstieg der nachfolgenden Generation erm��glicht, noch haltbar oder befinden wir uns bereits in einer Abstiegsgesellschaft? Wie haben sich Aufstiegschancen und Abstiegsrisiken f��r Frauen und M��nner in ��sterreich seit dem zweiten Weltkrieg ver��ndert? Der Soziale Survey ��sterreich 2021 (SS��) gibt Antwort und zeigt: Aktuell kann (noch) nicht von einer Abstiegsgesellschaft gesprochen werden, berufliche Immobilit��t nimmt aber zu und berufliche Aufstiege verlieren - zumindest f��r M��nner - an Normalit��t.
