Abstract

FIGURE 6. A. Rachillae thick and ribbed, densely covered with much branched, brownish-white hairs (L. dasyantha, Henderson 3359). B. Staminate sepals pedicellate at the base, not densely hairy (L. verrucosa, Henderson 4079). C. Staminate sepals densely hairy (L. manglaensis, Henderson 3874). D. Left side, staminate petals with a narrowed apex, solid internally (L. acaulis, Henderson 3309); right side, staminate petals rounded at the apex (L. centralis, Henderson 3512). E. Stamens with alternately long and short filaments and small, almost square anthers (L. magalonii, Poilane 28988). F. Filaments elongate (L. acaulis, Henderson 3309). G. Left side, pistillate flowers with elongate styles (L. acaulis, Henderson 3309); right side, pistillate flowers with short styles (L. centralis, Henderson 3524). H Seeds with a curved basal intrusion (L. dasyantha, Nuraliev 1149). I. Seeds with a straight basal intrusion (L. hexasepala, Henderson 3684). Scale bar = 1 mm.
