Barydesmus orellanus (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination Aymaresmus orellanus Chamberlin, 1941: 496, fig. 174–177 (original description). Platyrhacus orellanus: Jeekel 1963: 89 (combination). Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Orellana, III-1927. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9489 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state. Distribution: known only from the type locality.
