Genus CretarOPHalis Wichard (Figs. 1–9) Cretarophalis Wichard, 2017: 3. Type species: Cretarophalis patrickmuelleri Wichard, 2017: 3 (original designation). Revised diagnosis. Flagellum of antennae with 30–31 segments. Wings with nygmata absent. Forewing: Costal crossveins simple; RP with three main branches; proximal crossvein between posterior two RP branches (= crossvein 3rp3+4-rp 2 in Wichard 2016) absent; Cu diverging about from its midpoint, cua-cup crossvein absent. Hindwing: CuA with pectinate branching on distal half, with all branches simple. Female fused gonocoxites 8 nearly rectangular in ventral view, posteromedially with a longitudinal depression; tergum 9 with lateral parts strongly extending posteriad; gonocoxite 9 narrowly foliate and distally curved.
