La presente edición al español, chino e inglés de la selección, comentarios y notas realizados por el Profesor Li Zhengshuan nos hace posible poner en manos de los lectores una cuidadosa y estudiada obra del quehacer poético de Mao Zedong durante más de cuatro décadas de su fructífera vida. En esta selección se reúnen versos de juventud (1921) de profundo aliento amoroso, hasta 1965 en plena construción de la Nueva China. Son de especial significación los poemas del proceso de liberación nacional (1927-1949) y el decisivo papel del optimismo y la persistencia como recursos para alcanzar la victoria. En un plano más íntimo, veremos un conjunto de poemas, que a modo de epistolario lírico, envía a otros poetas como Liu Yazi y Guo Moruo o amigos como Li Shuyi, Luo Ronghuan y Zhou Shizhao, por ejemplo. Se han incluido las correspondientes fechas de nacimiento y deceso de figuras referidas por el autor o anotadas por Li Zhengshuan en la versión al inglés, así como determinadas denominaciones científicas de plantas y animales que aparecen en los poemas y en las notas. También se ha optado por redactar las notas del contexto de cada poema y las de los propios poemas en presente histórico debido a la vigencia de muchos hechos para la memoria del pueblo chino y para un mejor conocimiento a nivel internacional. Hemos cotejado las versiones en chino e inglés de la referida obra con la versión al español, para acercarnos al sentido de cada verso y a la correcta interpretación de sus pensamientos. También se ha comparado esta versión con otra que fue publicada en español en La Habana bajo el ciudado del escritor ecuatoriano Jorge Enrique Adoum (1926-2009). En esta ocasión, se publica por primera vez en las tres lenguas de mayor número de hablantes a nivel mundial; es decir, chino, español e inglés. Con la presente edición, la obra poética del lider histórico de la Nueva China se abre para un público capaz de disfrutar y comparar el presente poemario con la obra de otros poetas en sus respestivos países y conocer mejor diversos detalles del proceso de liberación de China durante la primera mitad del pasado siglo. The present edition in Spanish, Chinese and English of the selection, comments and notes made by Professor Li Zhengshuan makes it possible for us to put in the hands of the readers a careful and studied work of Mao Zedong's poetic work during more than four decades of his fruitful life. This selection gathers verses from his youth (1921) of deep love, up to 1965, in the midst of the construction of the New China. Of special significance are the poems of the national liberation process (1927-1949) and the decisive role of optimism and persistence as resources to achieve victory. On a more intimate level, we will see a set of poems, as a lyrical epistolary, sent to other poets such as Liu Yazi and Guo Moruo or friends like Li Shuyi, Luo Ronghuan and Zhou Shizhao, for example. The corresponding birth and death dates of figures referred to by the author or noted by Li Zhengshuan in the English version have been included, as well as certain scientific names of plants and animals that appear in the poems and in the notes. We have also chosen to write the notes of the context of each poem and those of the poems themselves in the historical present tense because of the relevance of many facts to the memory of the Chinese people and for better knowledge at the international level. We have compared the Chinese and English versions of the aforementioned work with the Spanish version, in order to approach the meaning of each verse and the correct interpretation of his thoughts. We have also compared this version with another one that was published in Spanish in Havana under the care of the Ecuadorian writer Jorge Enrique Adoum (1926-2009). On this occasion, it is published for the first time in the three languages with the largest number of speakers worldwide, that is, Chinese, Spanish and English. With the present edition, the poetic work of the historical leader of the New China is opened to a public able to enjoy and compare this collection of poems with the work of other poets in their respective countries and to learn more about various details of the process of China's liberation during the first half of the last century.
