Global Human Settlement Layer per zoom-level 18 Quadtree tile for selected countries as Spatialite database with OpenStreetMap building completeness assessment

Abstract

This Spatialite database contains the built-up area of the Global Human Settlement Layer (GHSL) per zoom-level 18 Quadtree tile. Additionally, it provides a comparison of the GHSL with buildings in OpenStreetMap: For each tile the built-up ratio between the building footprints and the GHSL is given and a binary completeness assessment (buildings complete, not complete) is provided for easy use. This dataset was created using the obmgapanalysis tool: https://git.gfz-potsdam.de/dynamicexposure/openbuildingmap/obmgapanalysis
