dataset related to article "Evaluation of oro-phonatory development and articulatory diadochokinesis in a sample of Italian children using the protocol of Robbins & Klee"

Abstract

The database contains the raw data related to the Italian adaptation of the protocol of Robbins & Klee. It shows the performance of 191 children aged 2.6–6.11 years. The protocol consists of 86 items designed to assess separately structural factors by means of a Total Structural Score (TSS) and functional factors by means of a Total Functional Score (TFS); TFS is the sum of an Oral Function Score (OFS) and Phonatory Function Score (PFS). The protocol is completed by six items aimed at assessing duration and speed: Maximum Phonation Time (MPT), the Speed of Monosyllable Repetition (SMR), and the Speed of Polysyllable Repetition (SPR).
