Abstract

Apimela jiajinensis n. sp. (Figg. 4 e 33-35) Materiale tipico: Holotypus ♂, China: W-Sichuan, Ya’an Prefecture, Tianquan Co., Jiaajin Shan, valley above Labahe nr. Station, 57 km W Ya’an, 1800 m, 30°08'63"N 102°25'18"E, 12.VII.1999, light forest, leg. A. Pütz (SMTD). Paratypi: 53 es., stessa provenienza (SMTD). Descrizione: Lunghezza 1,9 mm. Corpo lucido e bruno, pronoto, elitre e pigidio bruno-rossicci, antenne brune con i due antennomeri basali giallo-rossicci, zampe giallo-rossicce. Secondo antennomero lungo quanto il primo, terzo più corto del secondo, quarto a decimo trasversi. Occhi più corti delle tempie. Reticolazione dell’avancorpo assente, quella dell’addome poligonale irregolare evidente e all’indietro, sul quinto urotergo libero, trasversa. Punteggiatura dell’avancorpo finissima e fittissima. Edeago figg. 33-34, spermateca fig. 35 Comparazioni: La nuova specie è distinta da A. rufigaster Pace, 1999 di Hong Kong, per gli occhi più corti delle tempie (occhi più lunghi delle tempie in rufigaster e per la parte distale della spermateca composta di tubulo strettissimo (largo in rufigaster). Etimologia: La nuova specie prende nome dal Monte Jiaajin. Shan significa monte.
