Abstract

Hygrochara sinica n. sp. (Figg. 1 e 26-27) Materiale tipico: Holotypus ♂, China: Shaanxi, Qin Ling Shan, Hua Shan Mt. N Valley, 1200-1400 m, 118 Km E Xian, 34��27'N 110��06'E 18-20.VIII.1995, sifted, leg. A. P��tz (SMTD). Descrizione: Lunghezza 2,4 mm. Corpo lucido e giallo-rossiccio, capo e uroterghi liberi quarto e quinto rossicci, elitre brune con base rossiccia, antenne giallo-rossicce, zampe gialle. Secondo antennomero pi�� corto del primo, terzo pi�� lungo del secondo, antennomeri quarto a nono pi�� lunghi che larghi, decimo lungo quanto largo. Occhi pi�� corti delle tempie. Reticolazione del capo forte sul disco, superficiale sul resto della sua superficie. Reticolazione di pronoto ed elitre superficiale, quella dell���addome debolmente trasversa ed evidente. Punteggiatura del capo fitta e assai superficiale, quella del pronoto fitta e fine. Granulosit�� delle elitre evanescente, quella dell���addome fine e poco evidente. Solco mediano debole e disco del capo impresso. Pronoto con Fossetta mediana posteriore. Edeago figg. 26-27. Comparazioni: La nuova specie per la taglia corporea e il quarto antennomero pi�� lungo che largo, �� simile a H. indica Cameron, 1939 dell���India. Se ne distingue per l���addome giallo-rossiccio alla base (addome interamente nero in indica) e per il decimo antennomero lungo quanto largo (pi�� lungo che largo in indica). Etimologia: La nuova specie ha nome che significa ��Cinese��.
