This code presents the algorithm developed by de Bortoli in her PhD (de Bortoli 2018, in French) to quantify key sustainability indicators of road resurfacing strategies. The algorithm is applied to the assessment of the sustainable gains and losses generated by alternative resurfacing strategies on a French highway, compared to the Business-As-Usual strategy. This code is part of the supplementary material of a double article published in Sustainability, presenting the assessment method in Part I and its application in Part II (de Bortoli et al. 2022).
