Abstract

La formaci��n doctoral es un componente esencial para la sustentaci��n del potencial cient��fico del pa��s, muy especialmente el de las universidades. La presencia de un elevado n��mero de doctores es determinante para asegurar la calidad de la educaci��n superior y para la producci��n de resultados cient��ficos de alto nivel que impacten en la econom��a y contribuyan a la satisfacci��n de necesidades sociales y culturales. Para fortalecer este proceso en la provincia de Mayabeque la Universidad Agraria de La Habana (UNAH) ���Fructuoso Rodr��guez P��rez��� asumi�� en su estructura una unidad organizativa denominada Direcci��n de Grado Cient��fico y en su proyecci��n estrat��gica juega un rol significativo el Colegio de Formaci��n Doctoral. El estudio documental y entrevistas a directivos de la UNAH, arroj�� que existe una insuficiente gesti��n del Colegio de Formaci��n Doctoral en la UNAH que afectan su eficiencia y calidad. Por tanto, la presente investigaci��n tiene como prop��sito dise��ar el sistema de gesti��n del Colegio de Formaci��n Doctoral de la UNAH dirigido a impulsar la formaci��n doctoral en la provincia de Mayabeque, con el fin de buscar niveles superiores de calidad y pertinencia que contribuya al mejoramiento de la calidad del proceso de formaci��n doctoral.
