Synthesis of O,O' -alkylenedithiophosphato complexes of cobalt

School of Studies in Chemistry, Vikram University, Ujjain-456 010, India Manuscript received 6 October 1998, accepted 11 March 1999 Complexes of the type [Co{S2PO2G}2] (G = —CMe2CH2CHMe—, —CH2CMe2CH2—, —CMe2CMe2— and —CH2CH2CHMe—) have been prepared by the reaction of CoCl2.6H2O with ammonium dithiophosphates, which on oxidation in dichloromethane solution yield complexes of the type [Co{S2PO2G}3].
