La formación de la competencia resolución de conflictos: un reto para los estudiantes de Sociología.

Abstract

Hoy se reconoce la complejidad y la magnitud de los retos que enfrentan los sociólogos para el cumplimiento de las misiones encomendadas por la sociedad cubana actual, en función de anticiparse, prevenir en lo posible y resolver los conflictos sociales. Sin embargo, se solapa el manejo de las emociones que subyacen en cada uno de estos momentos en los que interviene sociólogo, y para lo cual debe ser preparado desde el proceso de formación. Los sociólogos poseen entre sus misiones la de analizar e interpretar la realidad social desde sus dimensiones política, social y económica. Ante esa realidad dinámica y cambiante se presentan situaciones y conflictos diversos a diario, razón por la se connota la necesidad de un sociólogo que no sólo comprenda las teorías que sustentan tales interpretaciones, sino que también sea capaz de identificar los conflictos, su origen y que proponga alternativas para resolverlos. Este artículo tiene como objetivo fundamentar la necesidad de la formación de la competencia resolución de conflictos en los estudiantes de Sociología. Para ello fueron empleados esencialmente métodos del nivel teórico tales como el histórico-lógico, análisis-síntesis y la inducción-deducción. Las autoras del presente artículo justifican la necesidad de estudiar la temática y la consideran novedosa desde la perspectiva de las competencias socioemocionales.
