Abstract

El papel crucial de la motivaci��n en el proceso de aprendizaje y su calidad ha permitido situarla como un ��rea fundamental en todas las aproximaciones al aprendizaje autorregulado, particularmente en la educaci��n superior. La investigaci��n propone como objetivo describir las atribuciones causales y las metas como componentes motivacionales del aprendizaje autorregulado en estudiantes universitarios de Camag��ey. Se asumi�� un paradigma cuantitativo para la investigaci��n, un tipo de dise��o no experimental, de corte transeccional y alcance descriptivo-correlacional. El muestreo fue de tipo intencional e incluy�� 328 estudiantes entre primer y tercer a��o. Para la recogida de informaci��n se utiliz�� la Escala de Motivaci��n Acad��mica y Atribuciones Causales (CEAP48), as�� como entrevistas semiestructuradas a los estudiantes. Los resultados indicaron la existencia de atribuciones causales del ��xito y fracaso escolar, tales como: el esfuerzo, la capacidad, la complejidad de los contenidos, el papel de los profesores, entre otras. Se encontraron evidencias de la utilizaci��n de metas de aprendizaje y metas de rendimiento en la muestra de estudiantes investigados. La informaci��n que se obtiene resulta de gran importancia para la promoci��n de pautas en la generaci��n de la autorregulaci��n del aprendizaje en el contexto universitario, y con ello, se fundamenta la necesidad de garantizar una educaci��n de calidad, que promueva oportunidades de aprendizaje permanente para todos.
