Linsenmaier labelled one male specimen in his collection as the allotype, bearing the following labels: Peloponnes, Geraki 2.5.1996 (Casiro) leg. W. Arens // ♂ Type Hedychridium Ab. urfanum Lins. Linsenmaier 1997 // NML_ENT GBIF_Chr000954. This specimen is not part of the type series because it was collected after the original description.
