The article describes the experience of a group formed by students, professors and operators in a social field, who participated in a theatrical laboratory of ���Teatro dell���Oppresso���, organised by the Universit�� degli Studi di Messina in collaboration with ���Libera��� association, in order to promote critical ���consciousness��� about oppressions caused by mafia mentality in the daily relations. By this experience, it was realised a ���forum theatre show��� that involved the participants in the collective search for a solution to the oppressive situation that was performed. In this way, participants became aware that nobody is freed alone, but with the effort of the group.
