Abstract

Aethes dilucidana (Stephens, 1852) Material examined. 1 ♂, Montenegro. Durmitor Nacional Park, Duži, 21.vii.2013, GP 30474 IgR; 1 ♀ Kučka planina Rikavačko jezero, 28.vi.2012, GP 18767 IgR. Distribution. North Africa, Europe, Russia (Western Caucasus, Volga–Don region, Middle Volga, South Ural, South of Western Siberia, Krasnoyarsk region, Altai) Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan (Stephens 1852; Razowski 1970; 2002; 2009; 2009; Kuznetzov 1978; Sinev et al. 2019). Note. Regarding the genitalia morphology of both sexes, specimens from Montenegro differ greatly from A. dilucidana from other localities. Additional study is required to clarify whether specimens from Montenegro represent a separate undescribed species. Thus, the determination of this material is still preliminary and the subject to change in the future.
