��Otro 7x1? Las pr��cticas sociales de descarte de residuos s��lidos urbanos en Brasil y Alemania

Abstract

El partido entre Brasil y Alemania, conocido popularmente como 7-1, disputado en la semifinal del Mundial de 2014, estuvo marcado en la historia del f��tbol por la derrota sufrida por el pa��s sudamericano, siendo considerado uno de los peores resultados de la historia de f��tbol brasile��o. Sin embargo, este resultado se vuelve insignificante si comparamos la gesti��n y descarte de residuos en ambos pa��ses. El objetivo del estudio fue investigar las pr��cticas de eliminaci��n en el contexto de la juventud brasile��a y alemana. Para ello, se realiz�� una investigaci��n cualitativa con inspiraci��n etnogr��fica. Durante un a��o se realizaron observaciones, entrevistas y registros fotogr��ficos. Los resultados mostraron que la separaci��n de residuos para su reciclaje es la principal pr��ctica de eliminaci��n en Alemania. En Brasil, la pr��ctica principal es eliminar todos los residuos en el mismo bote de basura. Los alemanes son m��s conscientes en relaci��n a la disposici��n de residuos, esto se debe a varios factores que permean la educaci��n, la estructura y las pol��ticas p��blicas del pa��s. Un hallazgo controvertido en Alemania fue el desconocimiento del residuo que genera el tabaquismo.
