The relative alignment of protoplanetary disks around the two stars in young binary systems has the potential to provide information both about the binary formation process, and about the later dynamical evolution of planetary systems. We will review past observations, and provide new data from ALMA. Observations to date suggest that few (if any) binary systems have aligned disks.
