Impact de la planification familiale sur la sant�� maternelle en r��publique du Congo

Abstract

L���objet de ce papier est d���analyser l���impact de la planification familiale sur la sant�� maternelle. A partir de la m��thode d���endogeneity switching r��gression (ESR), appliqu��e sur les donn��es de l���enqu��te par grappes �� indicateurs multiples du Congo (MICS) r��alis��e par l���Institut national de la statistique (INS) du Congo entre la p��riode 2014-2015, les r��sultats obtenus montrent que, la planification familiale am��liore la probabilit�� des femmes congolaise d���avoir une bonne sant�� maternelle de 91,6%. De m��me, ces r��sultats ont montr�� que les variables comme : situation matrimoniale, sexe du chef de m��nage, l�����ge de la femme, ainsi que le niveau d�����ducation (de la femme et du chef de m��nage), sont des variables importantes dans le processus de la mise en ��uvre des programmes en g��n��ral, en particulier celui de la m��re (sant�� de reproduction, sant�� maternelle). Ces r��sultats ont donn�� lieu �� des implications de politiques ��conomiques visant �� l���am��lioration de la qualit�� manag��riales des services de sant�� maternelle, afin d���atteindre les ODD 3.7 �� l���horizon 2030.
