Entire body except elytra black; elytra with metallic sheen. Body strongly compressed dorsoventrally. Clypeal edge slightly but distinctly emarginate on external side of each clypeal tooth; clypeal teeth more or less triangular. Pronotum only minutely punctate on disc. Elytral base lacking margin. Meso and metatarsi three segmented, first segment elongate, more than three times as long as wide at apex, last segment spiniform, lacing setae apically.
